About the Retreat
For those of you who were lucky enough to experience overnight camp as a child, camp was the place where we felt our most beautiful, wasn’t it? There were no Spanx underneath our Shabbat dresses. We danced in the rain, ate s’mores with abandon and embraced exactly who we were. Camp was a chance to be perfectly imperfect in every way.
This retreat is an invitation to get back to your roots and to celebrate the beautiful, strong woman you are inside. No cleaning. No cooking. No taking care of anyone else for once! Our award-winning chef and staff will take care of YOU as we enjoy camp grown-up style! We’ll kick off our shoes, put on our comfy pants, and enjoy massages, kosher wine tastings and inspiring discussions.
We can taste the dark chocolate s’mores already!
Whether you want to just get away with your girlfriends in a beautiful setting without having to worry about anything or you’re looking for an action-packed all-inclusive retreat filled with things to do, we have you covered! Everyone is welcome, and nothing is mandatory. Come hang out, or join us for programs throughout your time with us.
Our Jewish Women’s Getaway is an amazing program filled with incredible activities, great connections and the R&R we all need so much. Please see below for some details regarding what our daily schedule includes, and remember that, in addition to all of these activities, you’ll always have the option of just sitting and relaxing with your girlfriends in the beautiful mountains!
Health & Wellness: This retreat is all about you and your wellbeing. We will be offering many health and wellness lectures and activities, including:
- Yoga classes (newbie – advanced)
- Nature walks
- Healthy cooking demonstrations
- Nutrition workshops
Art: Taking the time to be creative will be an integral part of the program. Our Artist in Residence will lead all participants through the journey of creating their own piece of Judaica. This project will be connected to our other program pieces and will be designed for both women who are passionate about art and those of you who don’t often get the opportunity to create.
Jewish Spirituality: Throughout the program our Jewish Spirituality and practice will be led by our Rabbi in Residence. She will be offering sessions on many topics including:
- Your personal Jewish practice
- Text studies of women in Judaism
- Jewish women’s spirituality
- Opportunities for one-on-one dialogues
Social Activities: One of our goals is for everyone to have time to connect with friends you’ve brought with you and new ones you’ll be meeting. In addition to time to just relax and kibbutz, we will also have social activities planned, including:
- Wine Tasting
- Fun evening programs
- Recreational activities (boating, climbing wall)
- Nature hikes to the waterfall
- And more….
Additional opportunities: Every day we are hearing from more and more talented women who are interested in lending their expertise to our program. We are excited to keep the list growing. Some possibilities include:
- Women & their finances, and
- Resume building and networking
Among the Ramah camps, we are known as “Spa Ramah” because when people see our facility, they can’t believe how beautiful it is.
We are offering both hotel- and cabin-style accommodations for this retreat and we promise you, you won’t be dissapointed!
CABINS: Cabins are spacious, winterized and nestled throughout the campus. Each cabin has a private bathroom and linens are provided, beds are not made up.
STANDARD HOTEL ROOMS: Each room has 2 queen or double beds and a bathroom on suite. Some connecting rooms are available.
DELUXE HOTEL ROOMS: Recently built larger rooms with 1 king or 2 queen beds. Bathrooms are on suite. Some connecting rooms are available.
This is an all-inclusive retreat. Pricing starts at just $320. That includes all lodging, meals and activities.
Prior to the event, we will be setting up a Facebook group so you all can “meet” each other, and will be providing you with every detail you need to ensure a stress-free trip and stay. Here is a packing list to get you started:
– Comfy pants
– The outfit you feel your best in

It’s time to come alive again! Let’s celebrate ourselves, kick back, get inspired and enjoy time with friends, old and new.
